C-2000B LEDs always on

The Relay LED’s on the C-2000B are constantly on.  What does this mean?

Best Answer

This indicates that a user has inadvertently dialed a relay latch command like “*1”, while talking to an entry phone, instead of the normal “**” timed relay command.  You can turn off the constantly on relay by power cycling the controller.  If you do not want users to be able to latch (or toggle) the doorstrike relays, the capability can be disabled by accessing the programming mode of the C-2000B and entering “*8”.
