Scenario:

Unit dials out, but soon after the far end answers, the intercom hangs up and starts dialing once again.  However, if a call is received by the intercom, the unit works properly.


Solution:

If the recipient of outgoing calls from the intercom is a PERSON, do NOT program phone numbers in locations #05 and #06. Only use locations #00 through #04. 


Explanation:

#05, #06 are used only for Central Station Monitoring - where special equipment answers  and emits special tones that our unit  is listening for. If they are not detected, the unit drops the call., and redials.
