Scenario:

Unit dials out, but far end cannot hear the intercom's microphone. However, if a call is received by the intercom, the microphone works properly.


Solution:

If the recipient of outgoing calls from the intercom is a PERSON, do NOT program phone numbers in locations #05 and #06. Only use locations #00 through #04. 


Explanation:

#05, #06 are used only for Central Station Monitoring - where special equipment answers the calls and decodes alarm tones from our unit. the far end sends a "kiss off" tone which tells our unit to ENABLE the microphone.
