Follow these suggestions for the most stable and secure operation of the CTG-2A:
1. Use ONE and only ONE PC with the programming software installed to make changes to the unit.
2. Take regular backups of the .DAT file associated with the CTG-2A as well as supporting .WAV files - especially if any custom files are in use. That way, if the PC crashes, those files can be recovered.
3. Once .WAV files are uploaded to the unit, they cannot be retrieved - hence the importance of backups.
As a reminder, the CTG-2A Programmer is a file editor. It makes changes to the local .DAT file on the PC. "Upload" writes the changed data up to the actual unit.
