The phone line servicing our AES-2000 was recently changed from a line from the phone company (POTS/copper) to some other provider (cellular adaptor/broadband/VoIP). 


Since that change,  we've experienced trouble sending any tenant changes through to the panel from the programming PC.  If we are able to get beyond entering the security code and click on "upload all", it keeps trying to resend the data to the panel and eventually displays a "retry limit".  What can I do to program the panel?



1. Search for our knowledgebase article on "DTMF tones" and follow recommended steps to configure the phone line to better support modem communication. 


2. Contact your phone service provider and have them ensure this phone line is configured to best handle data: similar to modem/FAX data. 


3. Purchase a DLE-200B Line Simulator to facilitate the connection between the AES-2000 and the PB-100. This completely removes the dependency upon the system's phone line for programming. (See this Application Note on our website:
