The 12 VDC power supply that ships with the LV-1K is rated for 500mA output.

If power is being shared with other equipment, ensure the current draw does not exceed this.

We have seen this type of problem before when a user was trying to share a 12 volt DC source that was powering an alarm panel with the LV-1K. Connecting our power supply separately corrected the problem.
