The K-2000-DVA operates in one of two modes:

“Alarm Dialer” mode – calls out to live people through phone system [##1 in programming]

“Store Caster” mode (no dialing)- plays out through the 600-ohm audio output directly into a paging amplifier. [##2 in programming]

In “Alarm Dialer” mode, if a paging port is the recipient of the call(s), the additional tones can become an annoyance.

It is not possible to disable these beeps through programming, but we offer a special software version that will accomplish this.

The part number for this special software is “K2K-NBP”. We cannot update this remotely so it will be necessary to send the unit to the factory. There is $5.00 charge to re-program and return the unit to you.

For future orders, this special software can be installed prior to shipping by ordering a K-2000-DVA and the K2K-NBP software as a second item.
